well football so far has some ups and downs so far. the buffalo bills are looking good so far and the patriots are taking a serious crap without their starting quarterback. vikings aren't looking very hot right now and raider nation is better than they have been. the 49ers are cold. as well the seahawks are injury proned. as well the new york jets looked hot this last game with six touchdowns by brett favre. the dallas cowboys are looking shart so far with the romo t.o. connection. word has it that the dallas will take the division. but this is to early to tell for the football season.
baseball wound down today. the cubs won their division but the question is can they win the world series. with the curse of the billy goat still with the team not sure about that. and the tampa bay drays won their division. boston red sox did ok and the brewers took a crap the last part of the season and might get the wildcard spot. after the first round of the playoffs will determine who will make the world series. please leave a comment and tell me what you are thinking about.

superbowl football season
well this is it. football season is here. its still early to tell but there have been some early injuries so far. tom brady is out for the season with a torn acl and vince young is out for a month with injuries. does anyone have an opinion on the superbowl winner this year. the cowboys look good so far and a few people are predicting the boys to win. with brett farve as a jet and chad pennington in miami anything is possible. as well miami dolphins are coming off a 1 and 15 season and bill parcells working with the staff can they turn around a team such as them. also the raiders as usual are having a bad season as well as the 49ers. also shaun alexander being dropped by the seahawks no one has picked him up. not unless one of the teams loses a running back due to injury which is doubtful. also there have been some rumors that los angeles will have the next expansion team there and coach mike holmgren will be taking that job but that is just rumors at this point. the big teams to watch are the cowboys and the pats without brady. also another team to watch is the jets with farve and the 49ers with jt o'sullivan also watch for the longshot underdogs. there are always at least one per season.
college teams this year are always interesting to watch. a lot of good teams to get a bowl game. usc looked great along with lsu. ohio st. buckeyes are another team as well to watch. also coach joe paterno will have another great season and possibly another bowl game. also i heard this could be his last season before leaving but knowing the coach he may hang on for another season or two. looke for boise state to take the wac conference. with so many games to watch its hard to tell what would happen. if you have any comments or opinions please leave them i would like to read them.

two amazing stories
story number 1. many years ago, AL Capone virtually owned Chicago, Capone wasn't famous for anything heroic. his exploits were anything but praiseworthy. he was, however, notorious for enmeshing the windy city in everything from bootlegged booze and prostitution to murder. Capone had a lawyer in Chicago nicknamed "Easy Eddie". he was his lawyer for a good reason. Eddie was very good! in fact, Eddie's skills at legal maneuvering kept bi AL out of jail for a long time. to show his appreciation, Capone paid him very well. not only was the money good, but Eddie got special dividends. for instance, he and his family occupied a fenced-in mansion with live-in help and all of the conveniences of the day. the estate was so large that it filled an entire Chicago city block. yes, Eddie lived the high lives of the mob and gave little consideration to the atrocities that went on around him. Eddie did have one soft spot, however. he had a son whom he loved dearly. Eddie saw to it that his young son had the best of everything: clothes, cars, and a good education. nothing was withheld. cost was no object. and, despite his involvement with organized crime, Eddie even tried to teach him from right from wrong. yes, Eddie tried to teach his son to rise above his own sordid life. he wanted his son to be a better man than he was. yet, with all his wealth and influence, there were two things he couldn't give his son; two things that eddie sacrificed to the Capone mob that he couldn't pass on to his beloved son: a good name and a good example! one day, easy Eddie reached a difficult decision. offering his son a good name was more important than all the riches he could lavish on him. easy Eddie wanted to rectify wrongs he had done. he decided to go to authorities and tell everything h knew about "Scarface" Capone. he would try to clean up his tarnished name and offer his son some semblance of integrity. but to do this, he would have to testify against the mob, he wanted to be an example to his son. so, he testified. within a year, easy Eddie's life ended in a blaze of gunfire in a lonely Chicago street. but in his eyes, he had given his son the greatest gift he had to offer, at the greatest price he would ever pay.
story number 2. world war II produced many heroes. one such was lieutenant commander butch o"hare. he was a fighter pilot assigned to the aircraft carrier Lexington in the south pacific. one day his entire squadron was sent on a mission. after he was airborne he noticed that someone had forgotten to top off his fuel tank. he would not have enough fuel to complete his mission and get back to his ship. his flight leader told him to return to the carrier. reluctantly, he dropped out of formation and headed back to the fleet. as he was returning to the mother ship, he saw something that turned his blood cold. a squadron of Japanese aircraft were headed toward the American fleet. the fighters were gone on a sortie, and the fleet was all but defenseless. he couldn't reach his squadron and bring them back in time to save the fleet. nor could he warn the fleet of the approaching danger. there was only one thing he could do. he must somehow divert them from the fleet. laying aside all thoughts of personal safety, he dove into the formation of Japanese planes. wing-mounted 50 calibers blazed as he charged in, attacking one surprised enemy plane and then another. butch wove in and out of the now broken formation and fired at as many planes as possible until all of hi ammunition was gone, undaunted, he continued his assault. he dove at the planes trying to clip a wing or tail in hopes of damaging as many enemy planes as possible and rendering them unfit to fly. he was desperate to do anything he could to keep them from reaching the American fleet. finally, the exasperated Japanese squadron took off in another direction. deeply relieved butch O'Hara and his tattered fighter plane limped back to the carrier. upon arrival he reported in and related the events surrounding his return. the film from the gun camera mounted on his plane told the tale. it showed the extent of Butch's daring maneuvers to save the fleet. he had in fact destroyed five enemy aircraft. this took place on February 20, 1942, and for that first naval aviator to win the congressional medal of honor. a year later butch was killed in an aerial combat at the age of 29. his hometown would not allow the memory of its very own son to fade. today, O'Hara airport in Chicago is named in tribute to the courage of this great man. so next time you find yourself at O'Hara international, five some thought to visiting Butch's memorial displaying his statue and his medal of honor. it's located between terminals 1 and 2. do these two stories have anything to do with each other? yes! butch O'Hara was easy Eddie's son. many lives were ultimately saved due to the important lessons of character that easy Eddie conveyed to his son. and once again, truth is so much more interesting than fiction!

time travel possible
according to the December 10, 1955 issue of the NAVY TIMES, written by michael macdougall, strange disappearances may not be entirely random events. macdougall writes: "we were gathered in the lobby of the nordale hotel in Fairbanks, Alaska waiting for the airport limousine. from the doorway i could see the bank on the corner. instead of the customary clock, a huge temperature indicator was suspended over the door. the sign read 45 degrees below zero. "that means it's sixty below zero in the back country," said one of the travelers. "i sure pity those poor devils." "he was referring to an unsolved mystery we had just been discussing. three hunters and flown to a spot close by the arctic circle. a week later, Eskimos had found the plane, well secured and fully stocked with equipment and provisions, but the men had vanished. the wife of one of the missing men was seated in a corner, twisting and untwisting her hands. she could remember nothing about what had happened to her,or the fate of her husband and his companions. "she should go back to the states', said an outbound passenger. " they'll never find her husband." "what makes you so sure?" i asked. "his name is Franklin Briggs. he's a navy captain. his father, major Briggs, was reported missing in action during world war I. his grandfather, another captain Briggs, was listed as missing in Cuba in 1898. he never turned up either. and that's not all. his great-grandfather was the famous captain Benjamin Briggs." "captain Briggs," i repeated. "why was he famous?" " he was the skipper of the Mary Celeste, the ship that lost her crew on the voyage from new york to Genoa in 1872, the most baffiling mystery of the sea deserted by all aboard? Lloyd's of London, who carried the insurance, sent investigators into every port in the world. not a trace has ever been found of the crew or officers. there have been dozens of fantastic theories, but no hard facts. the mystery of the Mary Celeste is still a mystery." "he paused and then continued, "that's why i say Mrs. Briggs should return to the states. they'll never find her husband just as they never found any of the other Briggs." and true to his word, captain Franklin Briggs was never found."

ruins on mars
the evidence is incontrovertible, conclusive and astounding. it is not a group of rocks or hills that look like some "face" or "pyramids" or anything of that nature. it is not some trick of light or shadow bouncing off hills or mountains to make it look like a structure. it is an entire colony or community of buildings and structures that are all clearly engineered configurations. there are: a large mining or manufacturing building; a big hexagon structure with open archway that splits the frontal part into two equal parts; a huge appr. 175 foot-tall statue placed into a notched cliff that overlooks the entire colony, identical to ancient Egyptian statues with folded arms, royal headdress, legs and feet together; ancient and ruined wall structures, over 650 feet long over 220 feet high and over 50 feet wide, rising off a perfectly flat floor or foundation area; a group of step pyramids, exactly as found in south America and Mexico; a large, perfectly circular dome structure with protrusions coming out of it; clearly visible roadway that splits off and enters several areas and buildings; evidence of tunnels and underground excavations; solid evidence of artificial lighting in several areas; etc. there are appr. two dozen structures at this incredible archaeological site. additional structures can be seen at another colony about on half mile away. each different, each with specific designs. all of them meet single parameter or criteria to designate them as artificial or or intelligently designed structures. for the first time in recorded human history, we have indisputable evidence of alien technology on mars. these findings put to rest, once and for all, the argument about intelligent life in the universe. we are not alone. it substantiates fully richard hoagland and his earth-mars connection. although this has nothing to do with cydonia and the face on mars, it totally confirms his thesis in a most stunning way. artificially and intelligent design show evidence of "forced engineering", and they are virtually always and anomaly to the surrounding terrain. in other words, they interrupt the flow of the surrounding terrain, usually abruptly with no warning. evidence of artificiality includes such patterns as square, rectangular, or circular, structures, sometimes hexagonal, pentagon or octagon structures. there are repeated angles, perfectly flat foundations, flat walls, roofs, repeated corners, parallel lines between the foundation and roofs, openings in the structures for access, pathway or roadways that lead to or around the structures, etc. we no have the smoking gun evidence of an alien base on mars, and the implications are staggering-for mankind must now collectively come to the realization that WE ARE NOT ALONE IN THE UNIVERSE, never have never will be! this is not a hoax, it is real! investigations into the possibility of a hoax by the NASA/JPL/MSSS matrix of agencies involved in the martian probes was undertaken by the investigating team. conclusion: NO HOAX! these images were never shown on public TV, though they are the most important story every in recorded history. there are many hidden powers that have attempted to suppress these discoveries and to spike the evidence. NASA has done its part to hid the history of mars from public view for decades. they aren't getting away with it any longer. the facts are out! now we know! for more information visit: www.truinsight.com scroll way down. or contact best video productions, p.o. box 190, menomonie, wi 54751 ph: 800-257-2672

voting this election ron paul for president
the 2008 elections are coming up and this is something to ponder about. the elections are truly hacked. senator ron paul recieved 10% of the online votes but was failed to mentioned in any of the tv polls. also ask yourselved this question. what does senator obama and his running mate and senator mccain and his running mate stand on domestic issues. they are concentrating on world and global issues but fail to help the united states out in any way shape or form. i thing we should mind our own business and concentrate on domestic issues first before trying to change the world. the u.s. is falling apart at the seams and nobody is doing anything about it. we are turning into a third world nation. before you vote look at senator ron paul and ponder what he is talking about and what he is standing for. people of the u.s. should think for themselves and stand up for what they believe in and not what the boys in washington d.c. are doing.
